Charlottesville, Va. – The Hofstra Women's Soccer team fell to No. 6 Virginia, 5-1, on Sunday afternoon at Klockner Stadium.

The Pride dropped to 3-2 on the season while the Cavaliers stayed unbeaten at 5-0.

Virginia got on the board in 18th minute, making good on a penalty kick, before doubling its lead in the 30th minute. The Cavaliers would get another before the end of the first half, taking a 3-0 advantage into the break.

Virginia added a fourth in the 50th minute. Hofstra then spoiled the Cavaliers' shutout with freshman Megan Fisher netting her first career goal in the 64th minute.
