New York, NY - Hofstra's Ana Canahuate-Torres and Mandisa Wallé each lost in the semifinals of the Westchester Draw, and the Pride lost three other finals matches in the consolation draw during day two of the Columbia Invitational Saturday.
Canahuate-Torres lost to Whitney Weisberg (Fordham), 6-7 (2), 6-4, 6-2, while Wallé fell to Ana Leonte (LIU Brooklyn), 6-0, 7-5. The two players were the last Hofstra representatives in the main draw.
