Lynbrook, NY - Hofstra picked up four singles victories and won the doubles point in a 5-2 Colonial Athletic Association win over Delaware Friday at Sportime in Lynbrook. Hofstra moved to 9-6 with the win, while the Fightin' Blue Hens dropped to 12-6.

Marcus Smith, Niko Vulinovich, Coco Haener and Nick Silvestri each had wins for the pride in singles play. Smith posted a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 1 over Dustin Britton, while Vulinovich notched a 6-0, 6-3 win over Curran Verma at No. 2. Haener downd Colin Wong, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 3 and Silvestri earned a 7-6 (7-2), 6-3 win over Blaise Casselbury at No. 5.

Vulinovich and Haener (No. 1) and Smith and Jan Leithner (No. 2) also picked up doubles wins in the match.

Hofstra will be back in action on April 13 at Lafayette.
