Princeton, NJ - In what was a series of matches against Colonial Athletic Association opponents, the Hofstra Men's Tennis team went 3-3 on the final day of the Farnsworth Invitational at Princeton University. The event was contested in a Davis Cup-style format.

The Hofstra tandem of
Shawn Jackson and
Ryan Hardin combined to go 3-0 versus Delaware on Sunday. Jackson picked up a 6-1, 6-1, victory over Milo Nagle in a singles match while Hardin earned a hard-fought win over Luis Marcano (2-6, 6-4, 10-7). The pair then won a doubles match against their Blue Hen counterparts, 6-4.Â

The Pride did not fare as well against William & Mary as
Marcus Smith and
Jan Leithner went 0-3 on the day. Oren Vasser of the Tribe defeated Smith, 7-5, 6-3, and Brenden Volk rallied to defeat Leithner (4-6, 6-3, 10-7). William & Mary pulled out the doubles win as well, 7-5.
