Hempstead, NY - Afternoon rain forced the postponement of the second day of the Hofstra Pride Invitational Saturday. The tournament will now conclude Sunday, with play beginning at 10 a.m. at the Hofstra Outdoor Tennis Center.

Michal Kaplan suffered a 6-4, 6-0 loss to Fordham's Carina Ma in the "A" singles semifinals while
Disha Yellayi won her "C" singles semifinal match against Amy Galloway of Marist, 7-5 and 6-2. Yellayi will face Whitney Weisberg (Fordham), who defeated the Pride's
Meheq Khokhar in the other semifinal, in the finals. Weisberg prevailed in a hard-fought match over Khokhar, 6-2, 3-6, 10-7.
In "B" doubles, Jennifer Gogova and Malin Leysen of LIU defeated Hofstra's team of
Sarah Catherine Herndon and Yellayi, 6-1, in the semifinals and then went on to claim the flight championship with a 6-3 win over teammates Anna Grigoryan and Clemence Krug.
