Kyle Ritchie and
Kenyon Kautz each shot program-record single round scores of 67 (-5) as Hofstra finished 13th at the Hartford Hawks Invitational at Bull's Bridge Golf Club Tuesday afternoon.

The five-under 67 is the lowest score in Hofstra Men's Golf history, relative to par. Two other golfers, David Mecca (2014) and Blake Gianniny (2006), shot 67 (-3) at the par-70 Bethpage Red Course.

Ritchie had rounds of 74 (+2), 67 (-5) and 76 (+4) to finish in a tie for 24th place at 217 (+1) in the 116-player field. His second round 67 tied for the lowest score of the round. Kautz recorded his 67 in Tuesday's final round, turning in the day's best score. He finished tied for 43rd at 222 (+6) following rounds of 76 (+4), 79 (+7) and 67 (-5).

The Pride had a team score of 893 (+29) in the 20-team field, shooting rounds of 299-294-300. Central Florida won the event at 836 (-28) and the Golden Knights' Juuso Kahlos was the individual winner at 207 (-9).

The Pride returns to action Monday, September 25, at the Father George Hill Collegiate Invitational hosted by Manhattan College at the Huntington Crescent Club.
