Lewisburg, PA - The doubles team of
Niko Vulinovich and
Corentin Haener won the A Doubles championship and
Marcus Smith was a finalist at A Singles as play concluded at the Bucknell Invitational Sunday. The Pride also had three other singles players compete in the semifinals at their respective singles flights.

Vulinovich and Haener, who teamed together last season and earned an ITA Regional ranking, posted a 6-4 victory over Bucknell's Dan Wright and Ben Gerber in the finals. Smith won the first set against Max Kane of Bucknell, 6-1, before Kane took the second set, 6-4. The pair then played a thrilling third set tiebreak that resulted in a 15-13 win for Kane.

At B Singles, Haener and
Jan Leithner each lost in their respective semifinal matches. Haener lost to Bucknell's Max MacDonald in a three sets, 6-1, 5-7, 10-7 while Leithner fell to eventual champion Brandon Wortkotter of Mount St. Mary's in three sets as well, 6-1, 3-6, 11-9.

Santiago Haas lost his semifinal match at D Singles to Charlie Shanker of Loyola (MD) in three sets, 2-6, 6-4, 10-8.

Hofstra will be off until September 22 when it hosts the Hofstra Pride Invitational.
