Sean Cavanaugh tied for 22nd at 215 (+5) and Hofstra finished 12th as a team at The Doc Gimmler hosted by St. John's at the Bethpage Red Course. The Pride shot a team score of 879 (+39) in the 14-team field.
Cavanaugh had rounds of 72-71-72 and was Hofstra's top scorer during Sunday's final round.
Kyle Ritchie tied for 31st in the 78-player field with a 216 (+6, 73-70-73).
Alec Aronson tied for 54th at 223 (+13, 71-76-76), while
Kenyon Kautz was 73rd at 230 (+20, 70-79-81).
Eric Shelly shot a 233 (+23, 78-76-79) to place 76th.
Nick Quinn was 78th at 262 (+52, 88-88-86).
Florida State won the team title at 827 (-13), 10 stroke ahead of Loyola (MD). Yale's Eoin Leonard was the individual medalist with a 199 (-11)
The Pride returns to action September 18 at the Hartford Invitational.
