Justin Wright-Foreman scored 20 points, including a clutch four-point play at the third quarter buzzer, to propel the Hofstra Men's Basketball team to a 99-87 victory over Concordia University on Friday evening.
The win moves Hofstra to 3-0 on its Canadian trip.
The Pride held a slight 68-67 lead with 1.6 seconds left in the third quarter before Wright-Foreman received the inbounds pass and drained a three-pointer from in front of the Hofstra bench and made the ensuing free throw after getting fouled as well. That basket kick-started an 11-3 run that would put Hofstra ahead 79-70 in the fourth quarter.
Hofstra has one game remaining in Canada as the Pride will take on McGill University on Saturday at 3 p.m.
