Desure Buie posted 21 points, including six three-pointers, to lead the Hofstra Men's Basketball team to an easy 110-51 victory over Bishop's University on Thursday evening at Vanier College.
Hofstra hit 16 three-pointers to easily capture the victory as Buie was assisted by a great night from freshman
Matija Radovic, who scored 19 points with three three-pointers. Sophomore
Stafford Trueheart had a double-double with 21 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.
The win was Hofstra's second straight in Canada with two more contests on the trip.
The Pride rested three of its players – senior
Rokas Gustys, sophomore
Eli Pemberton and junior
Justin Wright-Foreman – and was able to give its bench extended playing time. Buie added eight assists in the game, while junior
Kenny Wormley had eight points, five rebounds and five assists.
Hofstra will play its next game on Friday evening at 7 p.m. against Concordia University.
