Hempstead, NY – With the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Quarterfinals at Hofstra University's James M. Shuart Stadium just days away, fans are urged to purchase their tickets in advance of Saturday's (May 20) exciting doubleheader.
As previously announced, reserved chairback seating is SOLD OUT and in addition, reserved parking on the south side of campus and the Hospitality Village are also SOLD OUT.
For those who do not have a reserved parking pass, general parking will be available on the north side of campus. Parking on the north campus is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. General parking is $10 per vehicle, and you can enter those parking lots via Earle Ovington Boulevard.
Weather forecasts call for a sunny day with temperatures around 70 degrees.
#3 Ohio State will meet Duke in the day's first game at 12 p.m. The second game of the day will feature #4 Notre Dame against #5 Denver.
Ohio State, the nation's #3 seed, earned a narrow 7-4 victory over Loyola (MD) on Sunday afternoon to punch its ticket. They will face Duke, which went on the road and dominated Johns Hopkins to the tune of a 19-6 victory.
In the other game in Hempstead it will be #4 Notre Dame against #5 Denver. The Fighting Irish powered past Marquette on Sunday with a 15-9 win. The Pioneers were clicking on all cylinders offensively as they dispatched Air Force, 17-10.
