Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra Men's Tennis team will participate in The Farnsworth Invitational, held at the Lenz Tennis Center on the campus of Princeton University, Friday through Sunday. Players from 14 schools are set to compete in the event, which is named in honor of the late Princeton tennis alumnus and All-American, Navy lieutenant Ted Farnsworth '84.
Play will begin at 8:30 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Friday and Saturday will have two rounds of singles and one round of doubles each day. Sunday will have one round of singles and two rounds of doubles.
Bryant, Columbia, Drexel, Fairleigh Dickinson, Lehigh, Marist, Middlebury, Monmouth, NJIT, Princeton, St. John's, Temple and defending national team champion Virginia will join the Pride in competing. The Farnsworth Invitational will have four singles draws and three doubles draws.
