Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University Department of Athletics congratulates three members of the Atlanta Falcons (NFL) staff and wishes the entire organization good luck in Super Bowl LI. 

The Falcons staff includes two Hofstra alumni - Raheem Morris and Lance Schulters - and a former Pride coach in Dan Quinn.

Quinn, the Falcons head coach, was an assistant coach at Hofstra from 1996-2000. He was the defensive line coach at Hofstra from 1996-99 and the defensive coordinator and defensive line coach in 2000. 

Morris, a free safety, made 141 tackles for Hofstra during his career from 1994-97. He was awarded the Mayor's Trophy as a senior in 1997. Morris is the Assistant Head Coach/Wide Receivers Coach for the Falcons.

A strong safety for two years (1996 and 1997), Lance Schulters was a two-time All-America selection and the 1997 I-AA Independent Defensive Player of the Year. Schulters is a Special Teams Intern with the Falcons.
