WTEN: Hofstra Falls To Drexel

Philadelphia, PA - Michal Kaplan posted Hofstra's lone win on the day as Drexel posted a 4-1 Colonial Athletic Association win Sunday at the Drexel Armory.

Hofstra fell to 8-5 overall and 1-3 in CAA action. Drexel improved to 12-4, 1-2 in the CAA.

Kaplan defeated Clary Rodriguez Cruz 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 at second singles to account for Hofstra's point. Drexel won the doubles point and the other three completed singles matches. Fifth and sixth singles were unfinished as the match was already decided.

Hofstra is back in action Tuesday at home against Marist. Match time is 4 p.m.
