BB: Hofstra Looks To Extend Win Streak At LIU Brooklyn

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra Baseball team, fresh off a three-game sweep of CAA rival Charleston, will put their four-game winning streak on the line Wednesday afternoon at LIU Brooklyn. Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The current four-game winning streak matches the Pride's season high. Chris Bonk will get the start for Hofstra (12-24). The senior is 1-3 with a 5.40 ERA and one save. The Blackbirds did not announce a starter for the contest. 

Steven Foster leads the Pride with a .299 average, while reigning CAA Co-Player of the Week and ECAC Player of the Week David Leiderman is batting .281 with four home runs and 24 RBIs. The junior batted .643 with 12 RBIs last week. Mat Annunziata has a .271 average and a team-best 30 RBIs. 

The Blackbirds are 10-21 on the season and are coming off a 6-3 win over Seton Hall this past Sunday. The game marks the final non-conference contest for LIU Brooklyn this season.
