Carmen Pestano won her No. 4 singles match, 6-0, 6-0, as the Pride swept Lafayette, 7-0, Saturday night at Point Set Indoor.
Hofstra moved to 3-0 on the season with the win, while Lafayette fell to 1-4.
Pestano downed Ally Simeis without dropping a game in either set, while four of Hofstra's other five singles players won one set without surrendering a game.
Sarah Bowen defeated Caroline Nixon at first singles (6-1, 6-0).
Michal Kaplan posted a 6-2, 6-0, win over Rocine Moschella at the second flight.
Disha Yellayi picked up a 6-2, 6-0, win at fifth singles over Megan Reiling, while
Giulia Leone had a 6-1, 6-0, victory at the sixth flight over Madison Olexson.
Sarah Catherine Herndon was also victorious for the Pride, winning 6-4, 6-2, over Catherine Senopoulos at third singles.
Yellayi and Leone blanked Haley Matthes and Reiling at the third doubles flight, 6-0. Bowen and Pestano posted a 6-2 win over Moschella and Nixon at the first flight, while Herndon and Kaplan won, 6-1, over Senopoulos and Simeis at second doubles.
Hofstra is back in action Friday night, March 4 when it hosts Charleston in a Colonial Athletic Association match at Point Set Indoor.
