Princeton, NJ – Hofstra sophomore
Felicia Banda placed 93rd to lead the Pride Women's Cross Country team at the Princeton Invitational at the West Windsor Fields on the Princeton campus Saturday morning.
Banda led the Pride for the second time this season with a 6K time of 23:14 to finish 93rd overall. Junior
Emily McLean-Loughlin was Hofstra's second finisher, placing 117th in 23:34. Sophomore
Mahlah Givehand, last week's winner at the NJIT Highlander Challenge, posted a time of 23:43 to finish in 128th place. Graduate-student
Lily Mayko placed 143rd in 23:58 while freshman
Kaylee Stebbins was 153rd in 24:11. Sophomore
Marissa Cadieux placed 171st in 24:57 while sophomore
Alli Bacher placed 197th in 26:41 to round out the Pride roster.
As a team, the Hofstra women finished in 19th place in the 22-team field with 534 points. Iona captured the team championship with 91 points. Columbia was second with 94 points and Maryland was third with 111 points. Iona senior Teghan Henderson was the individual champion in a time of 21:11.
