Louise Lopez picked up a win at second singles and teamed with
Bianca Derrick to post a victory at second doubles, but Drexel won the other five singles matches and the doubles point in a 6-1 win Sunday afternoon.
The loss snapped a seven match winning streak for the Pride and dropped their record to 11-2, 0-2 in the CAA. Drexel improved to 14-1 overall and 1-0 in the CAA. The win also set a program record for wins in a season for the Dragons.
Lopez defeated Erin Browsher, 7-5 and 6-3, to win her 14th match of the season. She also teamed with Derrick in an 8-4 win over Browsher and Ryshena Providence.
Hofstra returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Wagner at 3 p.m.
