Hempstead, N.Y. – The Hofstra Softball program held its annual alumnae game on Sept. 26 where the Pride welcomed back dozens of former players.

The Pride also put up a banner commemorating the team's appearance in last season's NCAA Tournament. Members of the 2015 squad also received championship rings for winning the Colonial Athletic Association title. Hofstra's four graduating players – Taylor Pirone, Morgan Lashley, Erin Trippi and Danielle Bitts, all unveiled the banner.

Former Hofstra Head Coach Bill Edwards, who retired following the 2014 season, was in attendance, as was two-time All-America pitcher Olivia Galati.

Hofstra went 38-14-1 overall last season and 17-3 in CAA play before posting two wins over nationally ranked James Madison in the conference tournament to win the program's third title in four years. Under first-year Head Coach Larissa Anderson, the Pride earned a spot in the NCAA Gainesville Regional, where the Pride posted a win against Florida Atlantic.
