Williamsburg, VA – Top-seeded UNCW won each of the five completed matches en route to a 4-0 victory over eighth-seeded Hofstra in the quarterfinals of the Colonial Athletic Association Championship.

Hofstra ends its season with an 8-8 record while UNCW improves to 15-3 on the year.

Kelly Cameron and Miller Hales posted an 8-2 win at third doubles over Giulia Leone and Bianca Posa. Angie Sekely and Alyssa Ritchie followed with an 8-3 win over Louise Lopez and Bianca Derrick at second doubles to give the Seahawks the point.

Christine Kharkevitch defeated Derrick at fifth singles, 6-1, 6-0 to give UNCW a 2-0 lead in the match. Sekely downed Sarah Bowen, 6-1, 6-0, at first singles before Cameron won by the same score over Posa at sixth singles to give the win to UNCW.
