Hempstead, NY - Adrien Bailly and Joseph Erichsen posted shutout wins at their respective flights and the Pride won for the third consecutive match, 7-0 over Wagner Thursday at the Hofstra Outdoor Tennis Center.

The Pride improved to 6-4 on the season, while Wagner fell to 1-11.

The Pride opened the match by taking the doubles point with Ari Richman and Bailly posting an 8-4 win over Christian Grau and Sam Flaxman at first doubles. Beau Wills and Erichsen picked up an 8-0 win over Chris Jarema and Matt Mason at second doubles. Leo Pires and Matthew Gemmell completed the sweep with an 8-4 victory at third doubles over Sawyer Fonda and Devon Flint.

Hofstra would drop just 13 games over the course of singles play, winning each match in straight sets. Richman posted a 6-2, 6-1 win over Grau at first singles. Bailly blanked Fonda, 6-0, 6-0, at second singles. Wills posted a 6-3, 6-1 win over Flaxman at third singles while Gemmell beat Jarema, 6-1, 6-0, at fourth singles. Erichsen downed Mason at fifth singles, 6-0, 6-0. Stuart Macleod completed the sweep with a 6-2, 6-3 win at sixth singles. The win was the first of Macleod's career.

The Pride, who played their second match in as many days, take a day off tomorrow before traveling to Monmouth on Saturday for a noon match.
