Charleston, SC - Adrien Bailly and Ari Richman won the Pride's only match of the day, but No. 64 College of Charleston won all six singles matches and took the doubles point as well in a 7-0 victory Tuesday afternoon.
Bailly and Richman picked up an 8-6 win over Brice Allanic and Charlie Ghriskey at first doubles, but the Cougars picked up wins at second and third doubles to clinch the point.
Charleston (10-4, 2-1 CAA) won all six singles matches in straight sets. Beau Wills put up a strong fight during his match against Cresente Lesser at third singles, losing the first set in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (2), before dropping a 6-3 decision in the second set.
Hofstra (3-2, 1-1 CAA) is back in action Wednesday at Coastal Carolina.
