Quakerstown, PA - Hofstra won five of six singles matches and all three doubles contests in a 6-1 win over Bucknell Saturday afternoon.

Hofstra improves to 2-3 with the win, while Bucknell falls to 0-2.

Elena Ivanova won her #1 singles match over Courtney Casey, 6-1, 6-0, and also teamed up with Brooke Sailer to post an 8-5 win over Casey and Daria Tuzhikova at first doubles. Sonia Tsay won her #2 singles match over Lydia Colvin in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, while Malissa Gilanchi won at third singles, 6-0, 6-2, over Alyssa McAndrew. Tsay and Gilanchi teamed up for a 8-3 doubles win over Jen Bush and McAndrew at the #2 flight.

Sailer and Paige Polizois posted singles wins at #5 and #6, respectively. Polizois also teamed with Bianca Derrick to win at third doubles.

Hofstra is back in action tomorrow afternoon at Bloomsburg.
