The Hofstra Women's Tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Bucknell on Saturday afternoon as the Pride was unable to capitalize on two singles matches going to tiebreakers and another that went to a decisive third set.
In doubles, Bucknell won the two doubles matches that were contest, including a narrow 9-8 win at second doubles by Pauline Gamboar and Carlin Calcaterra over Christie Gattelaro and Brooke Sailer.
In singles, Christie Gattelaro would lose a tough first set tiebreaker, while Stacey Kent would drop a tiebreaker at third singles. The lone match to go the distance was Brooke Sailer at fourth singles, as she fell by the score of 3-6, 6-4, 11-9.
Hofstra returns to action tomorrow when they travel to Saint Peter's College for a 1:30 p.m. match.
