Chestnut Hill, MA - The Hofstra Men's Tennis Team split their first two matches of the 2003 season at the Eagle Invitational on Saturday, September 13 at Boston College.
Against Manhattan, the Pride only managed one victory, as number one singles player
Nikola Djordjevic defeated Erez Cohen in three sets. The Jaspers quickly erased the deficit and proceeded to win the remaining eight matches, including the three doubles matches.
Hofstra earned their first win of the season with a har-fought 4-3 victory over host Boston College. Djordjevic once again got the Pride rolling with a straight set win over Chris McCoy. The Pride would go on to take a total of four singles matches, while the Eagles earned the doubles point by virtue of winning the #2 and #3 doubles matches.
