Sixteen grapplers of the Hofstra University Wrestling team took to the mat, on November 9, at Hofstra Arena to fight for starting positions for the 2003-04 wrestling season.

The intrasquad dual meet highlighted five returning NCAA qualifiers ?“ junior Ricky LaForge (Pompton Lakes, NJ/Indian Hills) at 133 pounds, senior Paul Siemon (Paramus, NJ/Don Bosco Prep) at 157 pounds, senior Ralph Everett (Miami, FL/Southridge) at 165 pounds, senior Noel Thompson (Freeport, NY/Freeport) at 174 pounds and senior Brad Christie (Fort Lee, NJ/Fort Lee/Montclair State) at 184 pounds.

There were no wrestle-offs occurring at the 125-pound class and at the 197-pound class. NCAA Qualifier Tom Noto (South River, NJ/South River) and All-American Chris Skretkowicz (Hamburg, NJ/Wallkill Valley Regional) will have the starting position in those respective weight classes.
