Masai continued to cement his legacy with a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America finish at the 2020 NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Championships at the OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
 
Masai crossed the finish-line with a time of 30:39.1 to finish in 32nd place in the 10K race, earning him status as an All-American in cross country and becoming the first All-American cross country runner in Hofstra history. 

It was the second All-America honor of his Hofstra career, after being named an All-American by the USTFCCCA following the ending of the indoor track & field season in 2020.
