After helping her team capture the 2019 Colonial Athletic Association Championship, Hofstra Women's Soccer junior Sabrina Bryan has been voted the GoHofstra.com Student-Athlete of the Week in a vote by fans on the Hofstra Pride Athletics Twitter account (@HofstraPride).
 
This past week during the CAA semifinal and championship matches, Bryan became the second Pride player this season to reach the 30-point plateau. During the CAA tournament, Bryan collected a total of eight points, including four in the semifinal versus Elon and four in the Championship match against James Madison. She scored two goals to open the week against Elon before recording one goal and two assists to elevate the Pride to its third-straight CAA title. For her efforts, she was named to the CAA All-Tournament team. 
 
The balloting took place over a 24-hour period through 11 a.m. Tuesday. Bryan earned the honor over Reece Heller (wrestling), Shawn Jackson (men's tennis) and Laura Masciullo (volleyball).
