ATH: Hofstra Welcomes Elon To The CAA

Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University and the Department of Athletics would like to officially welcome Elon University to the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA).

July 1 is the official start date of Elon's membership in the CAA.

"What an exciting day for the entire Colonial Athletic Association," commented Hofstra Vice President and Director of Athletics Jeffrey A. Hathaway. "Elon is an excellent addition to the conference membership and we look forward to competing against them in the months and years ahead."

Hofstra's first contests against Elon as conference members will be on Friday, September 26 when the Pride Women's Soccer and Volleyball squads head down to North Carolina for 7 p.m. contests against the Phoenix. The Hofstra Men's Soccer team will face Elon on Saturday, October 4 at 7 p.m.
