Ryan Watson serves as the associate director of athletics for facilities at Hofstra University. He moved into this role in 2017 and oversees all of the athletic facilities on campus. In his role, he is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Pride;s numerous athletic facilities, revenue generation through rentals, and working with University personnel and outside vendors on facility upgrades. In addition, he also serves as the team administrator for the women's soccer team.
Watson came to Hofstra University in June 2006 as an athletics facilities coordinator. Prior to his current role he served as an assistant director of athletic facilities.Â
Born in Mineola, New York, Watson attended Providence College from 2002 through 2006, earning a bachelor’s degree in business management. While at Providence he worked for four years as a student manager with Friars’ men’s soccer program.
Watson completed a master’s of business administration degree at Hofstra in December 2008 in sports and entertainment management.
