Nick Spy joins the Hofstra Department of Athletics as the senior assistant to athletics development beginning February 2025.
Spy previously assisted the Hofstra athletics department while working as an athletics intern at SUNY Cortland, shadowing with the marketing and ticketing teams, as well as the development teams. While interning with SUNY Cortland athletics, Spy filled in at numerous positions, including event management and camera operation for their home women’s basketball games.
Outside of his work in college athletics, Spy worked as a manager at YOGO Wild, where his responsibilities included working with vendors for supplies and purchase orders, handling all customer inquires, and more.
Spy graduated from SUNY Cortland in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management.
