Mackenzie Taylor

Mackenzie Taylor is in her first year as assistant director of athletics for donor and fan experience, having taken over that role in November 2024. She had previously served as the assistant director of athletics for business operations since November 2023 and joining the department in August 2023 as a temporary coordinator of business operations.
 
Prior to arriving at Hofstra, Taylor was the graduate assistant for the associate vice president/deputy athletic director/SWA at Providence College from January 2022 until May 2023. She was responsible for scheduling weekly Zoom meetings for discussion of monthly events for student-athletes, coordinating and communicating with Providence’s head coaches to ensure travel itineraries were up-to-date, and expense reports that were distributed to the associate vice president.
 
Taylor also worked for the Providence athletic department as an equipment room student assistant from February 2019 through May 2022, and she was a GSA coordinator intern with Arpin International Group prior to her graduate assistant position at Providence.
 
Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree in management from Providence College in May 2022, and she graduated with her master’s degree in business administration in May 2023. She was a member of the Providence volleyball team from July 2018 until November 2023, and was a four-year captain for the Friars Taylor earned Big East Athletics All-Academic Team accolades from 2018 to 2021.
