Kate Flamio took on the position of assistant director of athletics for student-athlete services and life skills development in October 2025. She had joined the Hofstra staff as  senior assistant to the vice president and director of athletics in April 2024.
In her role as senior assistant, Flamio managed multi-department budgets and contracts, and organized and conducted financial transactions. She also acted as a liaison between coaches, administrators, vendors, and external partners.

Prior to joining the Pride, Flamio worked as an office assistant at Approved Fire Prevention Corp. from November 2022, where she ensured the efficiency of billing and invoices, provided organizational assistance, and assisted office scheduling.

A Long Island native, Flamio graduated from Farmingdale State College in May 2023 with a degree in business.
