Dr. Russell Camhi is a board certified Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician with the Northwell Health Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Camhi received his Doctorate of Osteopathy (DO) degree at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine as well as his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Northwell Health Plainview Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Camhi received his Masters of Science in Sports Health Care from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences and is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). Dr. Camhi is an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University. His clinical focus is in non-operative management of acute and chronic athletic injuries, comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments, concussion management, ultrasound-guided injections, and platelet-rich plasma injections.
