Donnette Hamilton joins the Hofstra University Department of Athletics as the new Senior Assistant to Athletic Business Operations beginning in September 2025.
Hamilton moves over to the athletics department after previously working as a secretary at Hofstra, coordinating student advising, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, maintaining and updating departmental semester calendars, and more. In addition to her collegiate experience, Hamilton has experience in the private sector, most notably in administrative and IT roles. Her most recent role was as an administrative coordinator for Crossfire Badminton Club in London, England, from April 2004 until July 2023, and she held a variety of positions with the London Borough of Islington from 1991 until 2023.
Hamilton completed her higher national certificate for computer studies in June 2000 from Newham College of Further Education in London with a focus on computer networking. She also completed her certificate of higher education for associate project manager in June 2021 from London South Bank University with a focus in project management.
