Daniel Cantanno joined the Hofstra University athletics staff as an athletic facilities coordinator in August 2026. Cantanno previously served as a graduate assistant in facilities and game day operations at Adelphi University from December 2022 through December 2024.
At Adelphi, Cantanno assisted with the set-up, production, and breakdown of Panther athletic events. He was also responsible for sending game day contracts and visitor guides to opposing teams throughout each sports season, as well as creating schedules for student workers and overseeing payroll.Â
Cantanno also served as a gameday operations intern at Molloy University between April and December 2022, and has also interned with the New York Islanders. Since October 2025, he has served as a game night attendant for the Long Island Nets.Â
A 2021 graduate of Adelphi with a bachelor’s degree in sports management, Cantanno also earned his master’s in sports management from Adelphi in 2025.Â
