Brendan Varley

Brendan Varley joined the Hofstra staff in January 2026 and serves as the director of ticket sales and operations.

Varley brings vast knowledge and experience to the department, having previously served a variety of roles in the college athletics ticketing space. 

Varley arrived at Hofstra after working as the director of ticket sales at Taymar Sales U. / Sacred Heart University since August 2024. He began his career with the USTA as a US Open premium seating coordinator in 2022. From there, Varley worked as a senior account executive with LEARFIELD / St. John's University, and then at Taymar / Sacred Heart prior to joining the Pride.

In his role with Taymar / Sacred Heart, Varley lead ticket sales strategy for all ticketed athletic events, contributed to a plus 40% revenue increase during the 2024-25 athletic year, and was the Breakout Leader of the Year Award recipient while with the Pioneers. 

Varley earned his bachelor of science in sport management, with a concentration in business administration from St. John's in 2021.Â
