Ann Baller

Ann Combes-Baller has worked in the Hofstra Department of Athletic Facilities since 1984, starting as assistant director before being promoted to associate director.

Her responsibilities as associate director include game day operations for women’s lacrosse, women’s basketball and field hockey, scheduling facilities for practices, games and other events, the operation of the swim center and liason to the physical plant department.

Born in Rockville Centre, New York, Combes-Baller attended West Virginia University and received a bachelor of science degree in parks and recreation management in 1981.

Following graduation she served as a project manager for J.G. Construction from 1982 until September 1984. In 1989 Combes-Baller earned a master's degree in sports management from Adelphi University.

Combes-Baller has two children, twins Matthew and Michelle, born in 2005.
