Amber Del-Moral

Amber Del-Moral joins the Hofstra Department of Athletics as an assistant athletic trainer beginning in September 2024. She will be working primarily with the Hofstra Women's Basketball program.
 
Del-Moral returns to Hofstra in a full-time position after working as an athletic training student for the women’s basketball team for the 2022-23 season and the baseball program’s 2023 season. She also assisted the Pride men’s basketball team for their home National Invitational Tournament game in 2023 as a volunteer.
 
Outside of Hofstra, Del-Moral worked as an athletic training student at Nassau Community College for the Fall 2023, as well as St. Anthony’s High School in the Spring 2024 season. She assisted the Nassau Community College athletic training staff for the football, basketball, and wrestling programs, while her work at St. Anthony’s involved evaluating and treating athletic injuries as well as assisting with injury prevention and rehabilitation. Del-Moral also worked with the Houston Texans as an athletic trainer during their 2024 training camp.
 
Del-Moral received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Penn State University in 2017, and she earned her master’s from Hofstra in athletic training in 2024. She is a NYS-certified EMT and an NATA-certified athletic trainer.
