High School: Was a four-sport athlete at Higley High School in Gilbert, Arizona…Wrestled for four years and also competed on the cross country, track and tennis teams…Voted Most Valuable Player on the wrestling team as a senior and the cross country team as a junior and senior…Three-time Arizona State High School place-winner…Recorded a 45-7 record as a senior…Posted a 35-10 mark as a junior and 33-11 record as a sophomore…Tallied a 132-45 overall scholastic record…Set the school mark for most tech falls…Placed second twice and fifth once at the AAU Grand Nationals…Named to the Top 100 Best in the West list in cross country as a senior.
