Dylan Roberts is in his second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Hofstra Men and Women's Programs in 2018-19.
Roberts, a 2013 graduate of Siena College where he was a four-year starter and three-year captain, has served as the tennis professional at the Eastern Athletic Club in Blue Point, New York, since June 2009. He has also been the staff pro at the Bayport-Blue Point Community Tennis Association since June 2009 as well. Roberts also is a United States Tennis Association junior and adult tournament director.
An accomplished junior player, Roberts was ranked No. 1 in the USTA Eastern Section Long Island Region in the 16 and under and 18 and under divisions. As a junior player, he was champion of numerous USTA sanctioned tennis tournaments throughout the USTA Eastern Section and ranked nationally and in the Eastern Section. During his junior playing career, Roberts was coached by Coach Pasion.
Roberts’ post-junior career has also been successful as he has won several USTA sanctioned tennis tournaments throughout the USTA Eastern Section and is currently USTA ranked nationally and in the Eastern Section. He has also competed in numerous International Tennis Federation and Association of Tennis Professional events.
As a coach, Robert has worked with numerous ranked juniors, collegiate players and touring professionals. He has also coached numerous high school players who went on to earn all-league, all-county and all-state accolades.
Roberts, a Holtsville, New York, native, holds a degree in economics from Siena.
