Lilly Bernardi is in her second year as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Hofstra University. Bernardi is responsible for the design and implementation of programming for women’s lacrosse, women’s soccer, track and field, cross country, men’s golf, and baseball. Bernardi is also the coordinator of the Hofstra Strength and Conditioning Internship Program.Â
Bernardi returns to Hofstra after working as the volunteer assistant strength & conditioning coach for the Spring 2021 season. She worked directly with the cross country, track & field, and men’s golf programs at Hofstra, and she assisted with strength and conditioning programing for all 17 varsity programs. She was also a graduate assistant for the Hofstra strength & conditioning program in the Fall 2020. Bernardi graduated from Hofstra in December 2021 with her master’s degree in sports science, with a concentration in strength and conditioning.
Most recently, Bernardi was on the Fordham athletics staff as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the 2021-22 year. At Fordham, she was responsible for the design and implementation of all aspects of strength and conditioning programing for the baseball, track & field, cross country, women’s rowing, men’s squash, and men’s golf programs.
Bernardi graduated Cum Laude from The College of New Jersey in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science. She was a four-year member of the TCNJ women’s lacrosse team from 2016-2020, where she was a three-year starter for the Lions and was a key member of two Final Four teams.
