Becky Considine

Becky Considine (nee Celorio) joined the Hofstra University Department of Athletics in July 2022 as the assistant director of athletics for student-athlete services and life skills development. She oversees Hofstra's community service initiatives as well as all personal development and career programming for department. She also coordinates the Hofstra Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and serves on the Colonel E. David Woycik, Jr. (Ret) Esq. Pride Leadership Academy Committee. Considine is also team administrator for the cross country and track teams.

Considine was previously an assistant coach for the Hofstra cross country program from 2017 to 2019, following a four-year cross country career at Hofstra from 2012 to 2016. She was an All-Colonial Athletic Association runner after finishing 11th at the 2015 CAA Cross Country Championship, and was a two-time member of the CAA All-Academic Team (2014 and 2015). Considine earned Provost's List and Dean's List academic accolades as well as being a Hofstra Presidential Scholarship recipient. She was also a four-time CAA Commissioner's Academic Award recipient and received Hofstra's Nicholas Colleluori Unsung Hero Award as a senior. Considine previously held the school record for the women’s 5k when she ran a time of 17:42 in 2015.

A member of the Hofstra Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for three years, Considine had extensive community service work including volunteering for the Rolling Thunder program for children with disabilities, Girls on the Run program, and several charitable events with the Special Olympics, the CAA, and with local elementary schools.

Prior to her Hofstra return, Considine was a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and recreation aide at MWR Fitness Center in Rota, Spain.

A Scotia, New York native, Considine graduated from Hofstra in May 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a minor in psychology. She is married to former Hofstra men's lacrosse student-athlete Cole Considine.
