Third season with the Hofstra Cross Country and track teams in 2020-21...Joined the Pride in January, 2018 after the 2017 season...Came to Hofstra from Monroe College.

2019-20 ITF: USTFCCCA All-American...Qualified for the 2020 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 5000m with a time of 13:28.55 at the BU Last Chance Meet...Set a personal-best time of 7:53.04 in the 3000m at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational...

2019 XC: USTFCCCA Northeast Region Athlete of the Year...Colonial Athletic Association Runner of the Year...CAA Cross Country Champion...NCAA Northeast Region Cross Country Champion...Became the first repeat CAA Cross Country champion...Won the NCAA Northeast Region Championships with a Hofstra 10k record-time of 28:42.3...Won his second consecutive CAA Cross Country Championship with a time of 23:54.5...Competed at the 2019 NCAA Division I Cross Country National Championships and finished with a time of 32:10.6...Set a Hofstra record in the 8k with a time of 23:17.5 at the Lehigh Paul Short Run College Men's Gold 8K Race.

2019 OTF: NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championship East Preliminary qualifier...Placed 22nd in the 10,000-meter run in a time of 30:09.10 to finish ten spots outside of advancing to the national championships...Broke the Hofstra school record in the 10,000-meter run at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic with a fourth-place finish in 29:39.36 which was also the best time in the CAA.

2018 XC: Colonial Athletic Association Runner of the Year...Became the first Hofstra CAA Cross Country Champion in 2018 posting a school-record time of 24:00.7...Ran in three meets on the season and won two including the CAA Championship. Took home gold in 25:14.12 in his first Hofstra cross country event at the 8K Stony Brook Wolfie Invitational...Placed 62nd in 34:28 at the 10K NCAA Division I Northeast Regional in Buffalo, New York.

At Hofstra: Won the College Championship in the men's 5000-meter run at the 2018 Penn Relays in April...Clocked a time of 14:00.07 in the 5K to edge Michigan's Aaron Baumgarten (14:00.22) by less than a second for the college championship.

Junior College: Came to Hofstra from Monroe College in New Rochelle, New York...Placed eighth as the team finished 14th in the NJCCA nationals in 2017...Posted a program best 8K time of 24:53...Captured the cross country regional title at Monroe.

College: Attended Moi University in Eldoret, Kenya but did not participate in sports.

High School: Ran on the cross country team and played handball at Mangu High School in Thika, Kenya...Voted Mangu High School Athlete of the Year in 2013...Member of the district cross country championship teams in 2012 and 2013.

Personal: His brother, Moses, finished fourth in the 2008 Olympics and 12th in the 2012 Olympics...Enjoys watching soccer, listening to music and traveling...Criminology major.
