Jackson was a four-time all-region and four-time all-conference selection as a pitcher for the Pride from 1992-95. She graduated with school records, since broken, for wins in a season (26, which she accomplished twice) and in a career (96). Her career strikeout record of 638 also lasted for 13 years before being broken in 2008.
 
In 1993 Jackson led Hofstra to its first NCAA Tournament appearance, then helped the program to its first NCAA Tournament victory in 1995. She played professionally in Europe after graduation and was a 2007 inductee into the Hofstra Athletics Hall of Fame.
