High School: Comes to Hofstra from Jericho (NY) High School on Long Island where he was a three-year member of the track and field team and one year on the cross country team...Named to All-Nassau County Cross Country team as a senior...Double all-conference in the 3200-meter and the 1600-meter runs as a junior...Triple all-conference and all-county in the 3200-meter run in winter track and double-conference champion in spring track as a senior...Named team Most Valuable Player in cross country and the Most Outstanding Performer in Winter/Spring Track as a senior...Holds school 4000-meter and 1600-meter records...Two-time National Honor Society honoree.

Personal: Has one brother and one sister...His father, Vinko, was a four-year letterman at Fairleigh Dickinson and was the top runner in the program...Enjoys fishing, hiking and watching movies in his free time...Civil engineering major.
