Came to Hofstra after one year at Old Dominion University.

At ODU: 2016-17: Red-shirted as a true freshman at Old Dominion...Wrestled unattached at 149 and 157 pounds...Posted an 11-13 record on the season..Tallied seven decisions, two majors, one tech fall and one fall...Finished third at the Shorty Hitchcock Open, going 4-1 on the day...Recorded a 3-2 mark at the Franklin and Marshall Open.

High School: Wrestled at Hauppauge (NY) High School on Long Island...Recorded a 45-3 record on his way to the New York State Championship as a senior...Earned National High School Coaches Association National Champion accolades twice...Three-time All-New York State selection...Was ranked in the Top 20 nationally in his weight class.
