2017-18: Starter at 197...Was second on the team in victories with a 19-14 overall record including a 13-6 record in dual matches...Recorded a team-high 16 wins by decision...Tallied one win by fall...Third on the team with 48 team points in duals...Posted a 6-2 record in EIWA matches...Placed fourth at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic with a 2-2 mark...Recorded a 1-2 record in the EIWA Championships...Tallied a season-best four-match winning streak twice.Second year on the Hofstra Wrestling roster in 2017-18

2016-17: Starter at 197 pounds...Recorded a 15-13 record as a red-shirt sophomore including a 12-5 mark in dual matches and a 7-2 slate in matches against the EIWA...Recorded one major decision, two pins  and 10 decision victories...Placed fourth with a 1-2 record in the Journeymen-Hofstra Tussle...Was 2-2 at the Kaloust Bearcat Open...Had a season-best five match winning streak...Was 0-2 in the EIWA Championships

Came to Hofstra after two years at EIWA-opponent Drexel University

At Drexel: 2015-16: Recorded a 15-14 overall slate including a 2-7 mark in duals and a 1-4 record in EIWA matches for Drexel…Posted one win by fall.

2014-15: Red-shirted as a true freshman.

High School: Wrestled for four years and played football for three years at Parkland High School in Allentown, PA…Three-time District 11 Champion, three-time Northeast Regional finalist, and three-time PIAA state qualifier for the Parkland Trojans…Placed second at the Pennsylvania States in 2014…A NHSCA All-American…was ranked 18th in the nation at 195 pounds…Tallied a 129-36 career scholastic record.

Personal: His father played football at The Citadel… Has four siblings …His brother Ziad wrestled at UNC and Kutztown, brother Tarik played football for East Stroudsburg and brother Omar is a member of the Hofstra Wrestling team…Enjoys any sport in his free time…Management major.
