2013-14: NCAA qualifier…Placed fourth at 149 pounds in the EIWA Championships…Posted a career-best 26-12 record as a junior…Tallied a 13-3 mark in duals and a 7-0 slate in EIWA duals…Led the team with 10 wins by fall and was second in wins by decision with 15 and individual dual points with 54…Recorded a 1-2 mark in the NCAA Championships…Placed second with a 3-1 record at the New York State Collegiate Championships…Recorded a 4-2 mark in the Southern Scuffle…Ranked as high as 19th in the InterMat rankings…Posted a season-best, five-match winning streak in January and February…NWCA All-Academic Team selection…Received Hofstra’s Dr. James M. Shuart Award as the University’s Male Student-Athlete of the Year.

2012-13: Wrestled in 22 matches at 149 and 157 pounds as a sophomore…Tallied a 6-13 record, including a 2-8 mark in duals and a 1-4 slate in the CAA at 149 pounds and was 0-3, all in duals, at 157 pounds…Posted four wins by falls and two wins by decision at 149 pounds…Placed third with a 3-1 record and two wins by fall in the CAA Championships…His three wins in the CAA Tournament were instrumental in the Pride winning the conference title…Recorded a pin of Drexel’s Josh Yurasits in 1:29 for his fastest of the season…CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award recipient.

2011-12: Did not see any action during his red-shirt freshman season due to injury…CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award recipient.

2010-11: Posted a 4-2 record at 149 pounds at the East Stroudsburg Open before suffering a back injury and missing the remainder of the season…Recorded a major decision victory, two pins and one decision win…CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award recipient.

High School: Came to Hofstra from Valley Central High School in Montgomery, New York…New York State’s all-time wins leader with a career record of 275-20…Five-time Section IX champion who placed in the top three in the New York State Championships all five years…Captured the state title in 2007, placed second in 2008 and 2010 and was third in 2006 and 2009… Tallied a 55-2 record, was Section IX Wrestler of the Year and placed second in the state as a senior…Was the number two ranked high school wrestler in the Division I power rankings in New York State at the conclusion of the 2010 season…Posted a 54-1 record as a junior in 2008-09, a 48-2 mark as sophomore, a 47-2 record in 2006-07 and a 44-4 mark as an eighth-grader…National Honor Society member…Five-time scholar-athlete…Was a member of Valley Central’s four-time Section IX championship team and the Vikings’ New York State Championship team in 2005.

Personal: Born August 18, 1992…Has one brother and three sisters…His brother, Lou, was a an All-American on the Pride wrestling team…His father Lou, Sr., and brother, Lou, Jr., also captured New York State high school titles…Enjoys football, running and fishing in his free time…Aspires to a career as a lawyer…Earned a bachelor’s degree in legal studies in business major in May 2014…Currently working on a MBA degree in finance at Hofstra.
