Fifth year on the Hofstra roster...Looking to return to the starting job at 157 pounds in 2012-13... Enters the 2012-13 season ranked second in the CAA preseason poll.

2011-12: Wrestled in 25 matches as a junior...Posted a 12-13 record with an 8-7 mark in duals including a 3-3 slate in CAA contests...Tallied eight wins by decision, two wins by pins and two by major decisions...Recorded a 2-2 record at both the Binghamton Open and the Cliff Keen-Las Vegas Invitational...Tallied a season-best four-match winning streak in January.

2010-11: Wrestled in 37 matches at 157, 165 and 174 pounds recording a 21-16 overall mark...Posted an 18-15 record at 157 pounds with a 4-5 mark in duals and a 2-1 in CAA matches...Recorded 11 decision victories, two pins and  five major decisions...Was 2-0 with one pin in two duals at 165 and 1-1 in two duals at 174...Placed third at the CAA Championships with a 3-1 record...Posted a 6-3 record top place sixth at the Binghamton Open...Placed eighth at the New York State Championships...Posted a season-best four-match winning streak in November...CAA Commissioner's Academic Award recipient.

2009-10: Wrestled in a total of 30 matches at 141 and 149 pounds...Posted a 5-7 mark at 141 pounds and a 6-12 record at 149...Wrestled the first month and the last month of the year at 141and December and January at 149...Placed second at the North Carolina State Open...Was 0-2 in the CAA at 141 and 1-3 in conference action at 149...Recorded a season-best four-match winning streak.

2008-09: Wrestled in four matches as a red-shirt freshman...Posted a 3-1 record at 149 pounds...Notched one pin and two decisions on the year...Recorded a pin in 2:36 over Jay Sandt from Kutztown in the East Stroudsburg Open in his college debut...Tallied a 3-1 record at the East Stroudsburg Open.

High School: Was a four-year member of the wrestling, soccer and baseball teams at Griswold High School...Wrestled on Connecticut State Championship teams in 2007 and 2008...Three-time state champion...Won his third Connecticut State Championship as a senior in 2008 at 130 pounds...Captured the Woodstock Invitational title as a senior...State champion at 125 pounds as a junior in 2007...Selected Most Outstanding Wrestler of the 2007 Class S Tournament...Named to 2007 All-Connecticut Class S Academic Team...Captured the 112-pound title as a sophomore at the 2006 Connecticut State Championships...Placed third at 103 pounds and captured the Fastest Falls Award in the 2005 Connecticut State Championships.

Personal: Born September 22, 1990...Has one brother, Ted, who wrestles at Western New England College...Enjoys other sports in his free time...Serves as a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation...Aspires to a career in physical therapy...Exercise science major.
